What is the ruling of Islamic law regarding visiting a disobedient and sorceress mother who harms her children, given the son's desire to visit her out of fear of her harm?

If refraining from visiting the mother is due to fear of her harming [the person] with magic or something difficult to bear, and this fear has a verifiable cause and is not mere conjecture, then there is no blame in abandoning her visit, as the Prophet ﷺ said: "There should be neither harming nor reciprocating harm." It is recommended to supplicate for her often with good and to show kindness to her with a gift if possible.
