Does the sea ask permission every morning to drown the disbelievers, and the earth to swallow them, and the sky to fall upon them?

The hadith that mentions the sea seeking permission to drown the people of the earth has a weak chain of narration (isnad), and similarly, the hadith about the sky and earth seeking permission. However, the essence of this meaning can be inferred from the verse: (وَالْبَحْرِ الْمَسْجُورِ) (And the swollen/full sea), meaning that it is restrained and held back from the earth so that it does not inundate it. This indicates that the sea is full of water, and were it not for Allah's power and wisdom, it would overflow onto the land. This is a manifestation of the complete blessing and a clear indication of His favor.
