How do we help a child come to know his Lord?

The child is introduced to Allah in a manner appropriate to their level. They are taught that He is One, without partner, and that He is the Creator of all things. The educator can utilize natural situations to illustrate the Creator's greatness. The child is also guided to recognize Allah's blessings upon them, such as health and well-being, and is encouraged to love and thank Allah. Their questions about Allah are answered by explaining that "there is nothing like unto Him" and that He does not need food or sleep. Facilitating these meanings enhances their awareness of Allah.
