What is the ruling of the Sharia regarding a wife who requests divorce after her husband cursed her and described her as "the daughter of adultery" unintentionally, knowing that she sometimes defied him and refused to share his bed, and what will be the husband's position in court?

Marital problems are not uncommon, and spouses should be deliberate and beware of Satan who seeks to separate them. The wife's obedience to her husband is obligatory, especially in bed, and she is not allowed to refuse unless there is a legitimate excuse. She is not allowed to seek divorce unless there is a legitimate reason. The statement made by the husband is considered an accusation (qadhf) that necessitates repentance. It is preferable to avoid secular courts to solve problems and resort to Islamic centers specialized in Muslim issues in non-Islamic countries. The truth must be told, and lying must be avoided.
