What is the ruling of the Shari’ah and what must we do regarding a father who is 67 years old and engages in illicit relationships, frequently brings women into the house, and drinks alcohol, even though he prays, reads the Quran, and performed Hajj, while refusing advice and marriage, and inciting others to engage in 'urfi marriage and illicit relationships?

What has been mentioned about the father regarding forbidden relationships, the presence of alcohol, and other matters, is considered egregious errors and a deviation from religion. The children must denounce this to the best of their ability and strive to reform their father. If they are unable to prevent him, they must show their disapproval of his disobedience and remind him of Allah’s punishment for the disobedient, while supplicating for his guidance. The reminder should be with gentle words and good admonition, while continuing to honor and obey him in matters that do not involve disobedience.
