Is there any injustice in the supplication formula: "O Allah, bless our master Muhammad, the opener of what was closed and the seal of what preceded, the helper of truth with truth, and the guide to Your straight path, and bless his family as is due his immense worth and status"? And does the gathering of worshippers to supplicate with a specific, loud, and unified "tune" before the prayer constitute another type of injustice, or one more dangerous?

This dhikr is what is known as Salat al-Fatih, and it is among the innovated forms of remembrance practiced by the followers of the Tijaniyya Sufi order. As for the consensus on performing dhikr in a loud, unified voice, it is also among the innovated matters that were not narrated from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, or his companions, and acts of worship are based on divine injunction. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever introduces into this matter of ours anything that does not belong to it, it will be rejected." Therefore, it is obligatory to emulate the righteous predecessors, and what was not considered religion at that time will not be considered religion today.
