Is it permissible to be named: Imra?

It is permissible to be named with foreign names as long as their meaning does not contain a Shariah prohibition, or if they are exclusive to disbelievers. As for names that are exclusive to disbelievers, it is not permissible for Muslims to be named with them. The ruling on being named with the mentioned name depends on knowing its meaning: if it is good, it is permissible; if it is bad, it is not permissible; and if its meaning is unknown, it should not be used.
