Is marriage with the intention of divorce permissible in Islamic law?

If a marriage fulfills its legal conditions and pillars, such as offer and acceptance in the presence of two witnesses, then it is valid. Its validity is not precluded merely by the possibility of divorce in the future. Ibn Abd al-Barr stated that a man is not required to intend to keep his wife permanently; rather, he may divorce her if she does not suit him. Ibn Taymiyyah mentioned that if he intended to divorce her after traveling if she did not please him, that would be permissible.
