What is the ruling of Islamic law regarding how to deal with a father who commits forbidden acts and treats his daughter badly, and is it permissible to shun him or leave the home because of that?

If a father abuses his daughter and asks her to do something that displeases Allah, he should be advised and admonished gently and kindly, while being careful not to obey him in what he calls to of forbidden acts. If advice is not effective, she should threaten to expose him and reveal his actions to her mother or to someone who has authority over him to deter him. The daughter must avoid being alone with him and should not wear anything that might incite such actions in his presence. If he persists in his wrongdoing, she should inform her mother, and it is permissible for her to leave him and seek refuge with relatives who can protect her.
