Is it permissible to marry a girl from a different madhhab than Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah, knowing that she has started to draw closer to the madhhab of Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah to please the suitor and out of conviction?

The Prophet urged marriage to the religiously committed woman. People usually desire different qualities in a woman, but what is appropriate for honorable individuals is religiosity, because it is what they aspire to in matters that endure. Since the girl is not currently religious, and her future religiosity cannot be guaranteed, we do not advise marrying her. Furthermore, the difference in belief between you will be a significant factor affecting the stability of married life, which is built on harmony and closeness.
