What is the ruling on saying: "Barakah (blessing) is in you," or "May Allah spare you its evil," or "We are under God's protection," or "We are at sea"? Are these forbidden?

The phrase "al-barakatu fik" (blessing be upon you/in you) is permissible if intended as a supplication for the person or as an affirmation that they are blessed. It is also permissible in condolences. However, if it is intended to seek blessings from the essence of the person described, then it is not valid. The phrase "yakfika sharruhu" (may He protect you from its evil) has no objection. The phrase "nahnu fi 'ard Rabbina" (we are under the protection of our Lord) is not valid because it has not been reported in the Qur'an or Sunnah. As for the phrase "nahnu fi 'ard al-bahr" (we are in the middle of the sea), it is correct and means in the middle of the sea, and there is no objection to it.
