The martyr who is not washed, shrouded, or prayed over is one who dies in a battle between Muslims and disbelievers. As for others, such as those killed in fighting between two factions of Muslims or fighting against rebels, they are washed, shrouded, and prayed over. This is the view of the majority of scholars.
