Is it permissible to supplicate with the following formula: "If You punish us, then we are Your servants; and if You forgive us, then indeed You are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise"?

It is not prescribed for a servant to say: "If You punish me, then I am Your servant; and if You forgive me, then You are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise." This is because the servant is commanded to be firm in their request and to be earnest in their supplication. This supplication, in its meaning, is contingent upon will, and whoever is not forgiven is ruined. Therefore, the supplicant should not disavow themselves but rather seek Allah's compassion and mercy, as the prophets did. This supplication is said in the context of disassociation, not supplication, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did concerning the apostates.
