What is the ruling on a husband working as an accountant in a store that sells food and alcoholic beverages?

Your husband is not permitted to work in calculating the price of alcohol or other forbidden items, due to the Almighty's saying: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression." He should seek permissible work, trusting that Allah will provide for him from His bounty if he fears Him, as the Almighty said: "And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out And will provide for him from where he does not expect." And whoever gives up something for the sake of Allah, Allah will compensate him with something better.
