Is committing a sin to help one's parents an excusable offense?
It is obligatory for a servant to repent from every sin and disobedience, as Allah (the Most High) says: (O you who have believed, repent to Allah with sincere repentance) and (And turn to Allah in repentance, all of you, O believers, that you might succeed). If the disobedience resulted in harm or the forfeiture of another's right, then one must seek their forgiveness and return their right to them. This is a condition for the validity of repentance concerning others' rights.
