Is it permissible to pay zakat a second time on the quantity of oil remaining from last year's harvest?

If zakat (definition) is paid on the aforementioned oil at the time of harvest, then no further zakat is due on it, even if years pass. This is because the majority of scholars hold that zakat is only due on crops and fruits once, even if the harvested produce remains for years. They have agreed that zakat is not to be repeated on crops and fruits more than once in a lifetime.
