What should one do who disobeys Allah with their sight and resolves to repent, but then returns to the disobedience?

Whoever disobeys Allah with their sight or otherwise, must hasten to sincere repentance. Its conditions are: abandoning the sin, regretting it, and resolving not to return to it. The repentant person is one who remembers the greatness of Allah, seeks His forgiveness, and does not persist in their action. If their desires overcome them and they repent with sincere repentance, Allah will forgive them as long as they do not persist in the disobedience. We advise sincerity in repentance, staying away from whatever incites desires, and occupying oneself with what increases faith.
