Are miracles in the three Abrahamic religions real, or were they copied from pagan religions?

Those who claim that the Qur'an is "tales of the ancients" assert scientific authority, yet their contention contradicts scientific principles. To refute them, consider several points:

1. The Prophetic Biography (Seerah): Scientific research necessitates investigating the author's life and environment. If the Qur'an were tales, the Prophet (peace be upon him) would have lived in an environment brimming with books in multiple languages, possessing knowledge of them and the ability to read and write. This contradicts his known illiterate (Ummi) biography. The Quraysh disbelieved the Prophet (peace be upon him) without reflection, yet Allah Almighty challenged them with his truthfulness and the life he led among them before prophethood. They never accused him of lying, so how could he lie about Allah?!

2. Selectivity: Proponents of these doubts selectively pick past stories in the Qur'an and deny them as tales, while ignoring its prophecies about the future, such as the triumph of the Romans. From where did he derive these future events if it were merely tales?

3. Double Standards: They cast doubt on the Qur'an and the Prophet's (peace be upon him) character despite the widespread and authenticated reports, yet they assert certain "tales" they speak of, even though these are mere conjectures and possibilities. They discredit reliable reports and resort to entertaining fictions.

4. Controlling the Evidence: They interpret evidence to conform to their desires. For example, the story of the Samiri's calf can be interpreted to mean that the Samiri and the Children of Israel knew about the tale of the calf, not that the Qur'an and the Torah borrowed it. The Samiri's story is a human action, not a tale.

In conclusion, their impugnment of the Qur'an is not objective; rather, it is a justification for their disbelief.
