What is the ruling on buying black honey immediately for less than its market price, when the sale is deferred?

It is permissible to sell a described commodity (in a forward contract) for a known term, with the full price paid at the contract مجلس (gathering), and this is known as salam. Its permissibility is evidenced by the hadith of Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them both: "Whoever pays in advance (salaf) for something, let him pay in advance for a known measure and a known weight until a known term." Salam is permissible for honey by mentioning its descriptions, such as its color, type, quality, and consistency. It does not matter whether the price is less or more than the market price; the criterion is the fulfillment of the salam conditions.
