What is the ruling on speaking about the high expenditures and funds of princes, which are published on reliable websites, in order to achieve justice, given our knowledge that their harm reverts to the general members of society?

It is legitimate to criticize injustice and corruption, to clarify the truth, and to denounce manifest evil. This is not considered rebellion or an overthrow of the ruler. However, defaming a Muslim ruler merely for the sake of disparagement and fault-finding is a door to discord, and the original ruling on it is prohibition, unless the intention behind it is to achieve a public good, such as reducing evil and increasing good. It is obligatory to verify what is received and disseminated, especially online, as Allah the Almighty says: "O you who have believed, if there comes to you a disobedient one with information, investigate, lest you harm a people out of ignorance and become, over what you have done, regretful."
