One must abandon forbidden work as long as a Muslim finds what suffices him and his family. It is not permissible to remain in it for the purpose of earning and saving money for the future, for forbidden work is only permissible in cases of dire necessity. And whoever fears Allah, He will provide for him good sustenance from where he does not expect, and He will facilitate for him means of lawful earning.
