Is there a prohibition on frequently listening to and loving Surat Maryam, despite believing in the greatness of the entire Quran, due to the awe of God's punishment and contemplation of His vast mercy that the Surah inspires?

There is no harm in loving a specific Surah and listening to it frequently for what it contains of promise and warning, such as Surat Maryam. However, it is preferable to set up a program to listen to the entire Qur’an, as its other Surahs contain many details about God’s promise and warning, the vastness of His mercy, and the severity of His might and vengeance. For Allah, the Exalted, says: "Allah has sent down the best statement: a Book consistent and oft-repeated from which shiver the skins of those who fear their Lord; then their skins and their hearts soften to the remembrance of Allah. That is the guidance of Allah by which He guides whom He wills. And whoever Allah leaves astray – there will be for him no guide" (Az-Zumar: 23). And Allah, the Exalted, says: "Had We sent down this Qur'an upon a mountain, you would have seen it humbled and splitting apart from the fear of Allah. And these examples We present to the people that perhaps they will give thought" (Al-Hashr: 21). And Allah, the Exalted, says: "The believers are only those who, when Allah is mentioned, their hearts become fearful, and when His verses are recited to them, it increases them in faith; and upon their Lord they rely" (Al-Anfal: 2).
