Why do your fatwas rely solely on public opinion, and is there any independent ijtihad of your own in them?

The website is keen to seek the truth and conform to the evidence, and it often supports the opinion of the majority because it considers it consistent with the evidence. It may also, after careful consideration and deliberation, prefer an opinion contrary to that of the majority in some issues, in compliance with what scholars have guided. The opinion of the majority is therefore often the correct one. One should not oppose the majority except after deliberation, careful consideration, and examination of the evidence; because the opinion of the majority should not be underestimated and is closer to the truth than the opinion of an individual. However, if it becomes clear that the truth lies in an opinion contrary to that of the majority, then it is obligatory to follow the truth.
