What is the ruling on a Muslim man marrying a Muslim woman of a different Arab nationality?
The nationality of the spouses is not a condition for marriage; rather, what is required is their agreement in religion on the part of the woman. Therefore, there is no religious impediment to your marriage to the Egyptian suitor, provided your guardian consents, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "If there comes to you one whose religion and character you are pleased with, then marry [your daughter] to him; otherwise, there will be tribulation on earth and widespread corruption." However, it is advisable to be cautious in such marriages and to ensure that the difference in customs between the two countries will not affect the marital relationship.
