Why was there no clear miracle for our master Hud (peace be upon him), and why was his miracle limited to trust in God, even though all prophets had miracles in addition to their trust in God?

Every prophet had a sign (aya). The Qur’an mentions the signs of some prophets, such as Moses, Jesus, and Salih, but it remains silent about the signs of other prophets, such as Elias and Elisha. One should not overexert themselves in searching for their signs, as no practical action depends on them. As for the people of Hud, signs certainly came to them, as indicated by the Almighty’s saying: (وَتِلْكَ عَادٌ جَحَدُواْ بِآيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ) “And those were ‘Ad; they renounced the signs of their Lord.” Hud’s sign may have been his promise to them of abundant provisions and children, or his challenge to his people with his words: (فَكِيدُونِي جَمِيعًا ثُمَّ لَا تُنظِرُونِ) “So plot against me all together, and do not delay me,” despite their strength, arrogance, and their inability to harm him.
