Is it permissible for the husband to reclaim his money by force, after giving a percentage to those who retrieve it, in the absence of the rule of law?

If the amount is due by lawful means, then consider:

- If the debtor is in financial straits, he must be given respite until he is able to pay.

- If the debtor is able and refraining, there is no objection for the husband to appoint someone to recover his money for a known share (commission), and he may use stratagem.

- If it is not possible, and the use of force becomes necessary, there is no harm in that, provided that it does not lead to a greater harm such as killing or injury. Otherwise, the use of force must be refrained from, because warding off greater harms takes precedence over achieving benefits.
