Those whose good deeds and bad deeds are equal will enter Paradise by the grace and mercy of Allah. Among them are the People of the Heights (A'raf), who stand between Paradise and Hellfire. Then they will be permitted to enter Paradise, because their good deeds carried them past the Fire, and their bad deeds fell short of preventing them from entering Paradise.
