What is the difference between invalidating the fast by masturbating due to ignorance of its invalidating effect, and the fast not being invalidated by not wearing the hijab despite knowing its prohibition?

The nullifiers of fasting are legally specified as sexual intercourse, eating and drinking, and what is equivalent to eating and drinking, such as nourishing injections, masturbation, cupping, intentional vomiting, and menstruation. Masturbation nullifies the fast because it is a desire that fasting prohibits, and the fasting person abandons his food, drink, and desires for the sake of Allah. As for displaying one's adornments (tabarruj), it is not among the nullifiers of fasting; rather, it is like other sins such as backbiting and lying, diminishing the reward of fasting but not invalidating it.
