If a private employee (individual contractor) is negligent in his work and sleeps during working hours, his wage is to be reduced proportionally to the time he spent sleeping, unless his employer (the company or its authorized representative) pardons him. If he is not pardoned, he remains indebted for that portion of the wage. If it is not possible to return it to its rightful owners, it should be given to the poor and needy.
