What is the expiation for perjury, and is it permissible to feed 60 needy persons instead of fasting for two months for perjury, and how is the feeding done?

Whoever bears false witness must repent to Allah. It is recommended for him to give much charity and to increase in performing acts of obedience and drawing closer to Allah, while also seeking the forgiveness of the one against whom he bore false witness and whose right he invalidated. He is not obligated to offer food or fast as expiation for false witness.
