Is it obligatory to inform the owners of motherboards that have been repaired after they were left behind, and to donate the proceeds from selling old devices whose owners could not be contacted?

If the owners of devices abandon them because they no longer need them, it is permissible to take possession of them and benefit from them without informing their owners. And whatever its owner has discarded out of disinterest in it, belongs to whoever takes it.
