Should the daughters return the gold they took from their mother's inheritance, or should the father compensate his son who is demanding his share of his mother's inheritance?

The gold left by the mother is to be divided among her heirs: the husband gets one-sixth, the wife gets one-fourth, and the remainder goes to the son and his sisters by way of ta’sib (agnatic inheritance), with the male receiving the share of two females. The husband is not permitted to dispose of the inheritance or use it to equip his two daughters. Rather, he must hand over the shares of the mother and the son to them. The gold must be divided among the heirs, each according to their prescribed share, unless some of them relinquish their share to others, provided that the one relinquishing their share is an adult of sound judgment. If the gold is damaged or lost, the father is accountable for the rights of the remaining heirs in it.
