Is saying: "By the might and power of Allah" forbidden?

There is no harm in saying: "By the might and power of Allah," and its use has become widespread among scholars. Its meaning is by the power of Allah and His warding off of afflictions. As for the phrase: "Ya hawl Allah (O, the might of Allah)," it is not permissible if its intent is to supplicate a divine attribute among Allah's attributes, for that is disbelief by the consensus of Muslims. However, it is permissible if the intent is to seek Allah's help and ask for strength from Him. As for saying: "By the might and power of Allah I stand and sit in prostration and bowing" verbally during prayer, it is not legislated and does not follow the guidance of the Prophet (peace be upon him).
