Is one obligated to fulfill the promise of driving someone daily, and does the promise terminate if violated once?

Fulfilling a promise is recommended according to the majority of scholars, and this is the more preponderant opinion. If you promise someone to give them a ride every day, you should continue to fulfill your promise as long as you are able. This is not broken by your failure to do so once.
