Is it obligatory to obey one's mother and prevent her from going to the mosque due to fear of terrorist groups, knowing that obedience to parents is obligatory? And is there a reward for this obedience?

A capable man must perform the obligatory prayers in the mosque in congregation, except for one who has a valid excuse. The proof for this is what Muslim narrated from Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him. Therefore, you must go out to the mosque and pray there, and do not pay attention to your mother's words, because "there is no obedience in disobedience; obedience is only in what is right." However, if you are certain or suspect that harm will befall your body or wealth, then it is permissible for you to be absent from praying in the mosque, as Al-Nawawi mentioned, citing the hadith (definition) of Ibn Abbas: "Whoever hears the call and does not come, there is no prayer for him except for an excuse." They said, "O Messenger of Allah, what is the excuse?" He said, "Fear or illness."
