Are the Houris more beautiful than the women of this world who enter Paradise by virtue of their righteous deeds? And are the Houris superior to them? And must a woman marry in Paradise the husband she detested in this world? And is the Hadith "There is no celibate in Paradise" authentic? And is marriage in Paradise inevitable for every human being? And can a woman wish for handsome young men, devoid of lust, who praise her? And is the lowering of gaze specific to the Houris, excluding the women of this world?

The women of this world are superior to the Houris (women of Paradise), even in outward characteristics, and there is no celibacy in Paradise, for each man will have two wives. A woman in Paradise will be the wife of the one to whom she was married in this world, as long as she remained in his lawful marriage until death. Matters of Paradise cannot be compared to those of this world. A believer should direct their efforts towards what benefits them in entering Paradise. "Qasirat al-Tarf" (restraining their glances) is a general description for the women of Paradise, including Houris and women of this world, meaning they lower their gazes from anyone other than their husbands. Marriage is among good deeds, and one should hasten to it due to the lawful benefits it entails. Aversion to it contradicts the guidance of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and it may sometimes be obligatory. Dislike for it is a strange matter for which its causes should be sought and treated with supplication, lawful Ruqyah (exorcism), and consulting those with experience.
