The answer

Whoever sees the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, with his established description in the authentic Sunnah, has truly seen him, for Satan cannot impersonate him. Among the obvious characteristics of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, is that he had a thick beard, as stated in the authentic hadith narrated by Jabir ibn Samurah. It was narrated that Ibn Sirin would ask anyone who claimed to have seen the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, in a dream to describe him. If they could not describe him, he would say, "You have not seen him." Ibn Abbas concurred with him on this matter. As for the interpretation and meaning of the dream, we have no knowledge of it.
