What is the ruling on contributing to installment companies?

Installment sales with an increased price are permissible, provided that the debt value is not increased upon the debtor if they delay payment, because such an increase is usury (riba). Accordingly, investing in installment companies is permissible if the company deals in what is lawful, and impermissible if it deals in what is unlawful.
