Is one who works in a medical laboratory, whose task is to research DNA for dangerous diseases in cell samples from a fetus that may be aborted if a disease is found in it, considered sinful?

It is not permissible to abort a living fetus due to deformities or diseases, unless its continued presence threatens the mother's life. Accordingly, it is not permissible to cooperate in abortion by any means, including reporting the results of sample analyses if the inquirer knows that this will lead to abortion. If this occurs, one must repent to Allah and refrain from analyzing this type of sample. If it is found that the result of a sample analysis will lead to abortion, one should not report the result and should apologize to the employer.
