Is it permissible to perform the Qiyam (standing) prayer during a second congregational Isha' (night) prayer?

The majority of scholars dislike the formation of another congregational prayer in the mosque after the regular imam's congregation has finished. It is preferred for someone who missed the prayer to pray individually. However, if the mosque does not have a regular imam, or if it is a frequented mosque (like those in markets), then repeating the congregation is not disliked therein. The Hanbalis, however, held that repeating the congregational prayer in a mosque is not disliked at all, even if it has a regular imam, due to the general virtue of congregational prayer. It is permissible for someone who missed the 'Isha' prayer to pray it with the Tarawih imam. When the imam finishes the two rak'ahs of Tarawih, they should complete their prayer. It is appropriate for the imam and the worshippers to wait for them to complete their prayer, and there is no harm if they begin Tarawih before they complete their prayer.
