Is it permissible for someone who suffers from constant flatulence ( سلس ريح) and does not feel the gas escaping, and has used a patch to prevent its emission, to go to the mosque and pray in congregation? And is his prayer valid and accepted?

The prayer of one who suffers from uncontrollable flatulence in congregation is valid and accepted. However, it is disliked for him to attend the mosque so as not to cause discomfort to other worshippers. If the uncontrollable flatulence can be stopped by some means, the excuse is removed, and he is then obliged to attend congregational prayers in the mosque like those who do not have such an excuse.
