Is it permissible for someone afflicted with chronic flatulence ( سلس ريح ) to pray at home and then repeat the prayer in the mosque with the congregation, so that his ablution is not invalidated during congregational prayer?

One who suffers from continuous flatulence should not go to the mosque so as not to cause discomfort to the worshippers. He can still attain the virtue of congregational prayer by praying at home with his family, and he will receive the reward of praying with the congregation at the mosque due to his excuse. If the flatulence stops, he is permitted to go to the mosque. If he prays at home, either alone or in congregation, and then feels that the flatulence has stopped, it is recommended for him to pray with the congregation at the mosque again, and this prayer will be considered a supererogatory act. However, if the flatulence does not stop, he should not go to the mosque.
