It is not permissible for a wife to seek a divorce without a legitimate Sharia reason, such as the husband's oppression of her or her intense dislike of him to the point of being unable to fulfill his rights; otherwise, the scent of Paradise would be forbidden to her.

In the described case, it is permissible to seek a divorce due to the husband's oppression, as he does not provide for his wife and children. Financial support is obligatory upon him, and the wife is not obliged to spend from her private money unless it is voluntarily.

As for accusing the husband of immorality without proof, it is impermissible and is considered one of the grave sins. If it is proven with evidence, then it is a defect that permits seeking a divorce.

It is recommended to advise the husband, invite him to guidance and righteousness, and strive in supplicating for him.
