The answer

Among the answered prayers is the supplication of parents for their children. It is reported that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to seek refuge for Al-Hasan and Al-Husayn by saying: "I seek refuge for you both with the perfect words of Allah from every devil and every harmful animal, and from every evil eye." And Abraham used to seek refuge for Ishmael and Isaac with them. It is obligatory to strive in raising children and teaching them the remembrances (adhkar). The legitimate ruqyah and its method have been explained. As for ablution for ruqyah, it is not necessary unless the recitation is from a Mushaf (copy of the Quran), in which case ablution is required to touch it. Regarding forgetting the Quran, one must firmly establish what has been memorized and review it, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Take care of this Quran, for by Him in Whose hand is Muhammad's soul, it is swifter in escaping than camels from their hobbles." No specific supplication has been authentically reported for memorizing the Quran.
