There are no specialized books by early scholars on the inimitability of the Shariah in general. Rather, their works specifically address the inimitability of the Holy Quran, including: Risalat Bayan I'jaz al-Quran by Al-Khattabi, I'jaz al-Quran by Al-Baqillani, and Mu'tarak al-Aqran fi I'jaz al-Quran by Al-Suyuti.
There are also individual works by early scholars that explain the virtues of the Shariah, such as: Mahasin al- by Al-Qaffal Al-Shashi, and Al-I'lam bima fi Din al-Nasara min al-Fasad wal-Awham wa Izhar Mahasin al-Islam by Al-Qurtubi.
