What you did by abandoning prayer in the mosque and reading the Quran is a great error. You should have resisted the disturbing visions by increasing your devotion to Allah, remembering Him, and supplicating Him, not by responding to Satan. We advise you to turn a new page in your relationship with Allah, consistently pray in the mosque, regularly read the Quran, and preserve the prescribed remembrances (adhkar). Through struggle (mujahada), you will attain the sweetness of worship and the delight of obedience.
