Is it permissible for a woman to choke a patient during Ruqyah in order to distress the jinn?

It is permissible to use any lawful means to expel a jinn from the body of an epileptic, including striking or choking, provided that it does not result in greater harm. This is because the harm falls upon the jinn, and the epileptic does not feel it. Striking an epileptic has been affirmed in the hadith of Uthman ibn Abi al-'As, where the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, struck him and spat into his mouth to expel the devil.
