What is the ruling on money taken from non-Islamic banks, and what is the optimal course of action with a person who is threatening to expose pictures and videos belonging to the questioner?

The conditions for repentance are to cease the sin, to regret having committed it, and to resolve not to return to it. You must stay away from the second young man and not be alone with him or touch him before the legal marriage contract. Usurious loans are forbidden by the Qur’an, the Sunnah, and the consensus of the Ummah, and Allah has threatened those who engage in them with war. Part of perfecting repentance from it is not to pay the usurious interest if possible. It is permissible to pay a sum of money to the second young man to free you from paying the usurious interest, and this is not a bribe as long as the intention is to repel falsehood. As for the young man who threatens with pictures and tapes, money must be paid to him if this is the only way to get rid of his threat, because safeguarding one's honor is an obligation.
