What is the ruling on working in a private investment company that builds hotels and large projects and buys shares, and invests a portion of its capital in bank deposits, knowing that the nature of the work is far removed from bank deposits?

If your work in the company is permissible, and you are not involved with bank deposits or the company's dealings with prohibited institutions, then there is no harm in what you take as wages. You should advise the officials to desist from prohibited transactions, acting upon the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "Whoever among you sees an evil, let him change it with his hand; if he cannot, then with his tongue; if he cannot, then with his heart—and that is the weakest of faith." It is preferable to seek work that has no connection to the unlawful.
