هل هناك حديث يفيد بأن العراق أرض فتن؟

Al-Tabarani narrated from Ibn Umar that the Prophet (peace be upon him) prayed for blessings upon Medina, Shaam, and Yemen, and remained silent about Iraq. When asked about it, he said: "From there will emerge the horn of Satan and tribulations will flare up." This does not mean a condemnation of the people of Iraq, as it has produced many imams and scholars. Furthermore, other hadiths mention the Prophet's (peace be upon him) supplication for blessings upon Iraq, such as his saying in Musnad Ahmad: "O Allah, turn their hearts [towards You]" when he looked towards Iraq. There are also other hadiths that indicate the emergence of tribulations and earthquakes from the direction of the East.
